Toronto, ON - August, 2009 - Canada's only aerosolized hand and surface sanitizer, Virsani (Natural Health Product), signed its first private label agreement with Toronto based Canadian Rehabilitation Institute (CRI), to customize its product label for promotional distribution. The agreement was reached after discussions around a coordinated promotion to increase awareness of bacteria in the workplace, and to promote education around personal hygiene to reduce sick days taken by employees.

CRI selected Virsani as the exclusive sanitizing product over competitors because Virsani is versatile. Having complied with government regulated manufacturing guidelines for the manufacture of Virsani, it is the first Health Canada approved, aerosolized personal hand sanitizer that is also effective as a surface disinfectant. This has allowed CRI to consolidate its hygiene initiative sourcing only one line of products from one vendor, Notlers Consumer Products. Virsani is a Natural Health Product and complies with FDA guidelines for over the counter antiseptic products for distribution in the USA.

Virsani comes in a small 35 gram container, small enough to fit into a purse or pocket, and is small enough to pass through clearance as a carry on product for airlines, as long as it is in a sealed bag. Virsani is currently being sold through retail outlets in Canada.
